4. Self-Reported Violations and/or Requests for Lesser Penalties (By-Law 5.4):

Recommend action by school be accepted with reprimand issued and administration acknowledged for self-reporting Cor Jesu - Self-reported a violation of By-Law 2.6, accepted school’s actions, no forfeitures required, all students in the picture in question to have their eligibility reinstated; DeSoto - Self-reported a violation of By-Law 3.13.2, accepted the school’s actions, no forfeitures required, reinstate all students in violation after sitting out one contest, in granting of the lesser penalty; Eldon MS - Self-reported a violation of By-Law 1.6, accepted the school’s actions, no forfeitures required; Green Ridge - Self-reported a violation of By-Law 1.5, accepted schools actions, no forfeitures required, coach to sit out first two baseball practices in 2018-19 school year; Hannibal - Self-reported a violation of By-Laws 2.2.2 and 2.2.5, accepted the school’s actions, school to forfeit the contest participate in by ineligible player, student ineligible for the first football game of 2018-19, this is a one-for-one for the meet he participated in last semester; Herculaneum - Self-reported a violation of By-Law 1.5, accepted school’s actions, no forfeitures required, no conditioning for football is to be conducted during July 30-Augusts 5 no contact period; Jefferson City - Self-reported a violation of By-Law 1.7.3, accepted school’s actions, no forfeitures required, reinstate all students in violation of By-Law 1.7.3 after they complete an additional day of only half-shell; Louisiana - Self-reported a violation of By-Law 3.23.1, accepted school’s actions, school to forfeit contest in which violation occurred, eight players can only play four quarters the football week September 6, 2018 through September 12, 2018; Ozark - Self-reported a violation of By-Law 2.3.2, accepted schools actions, school to forfeit the contests in which the violations occurred, student is ineligible for the fall of the 2018-19 school year; Ozark - Self-reported a violation of By-Law 4.5.5, accepted school’s action, no forfeitures required, all girls involved in the violation are to have their eligibility reinstated; Richmond - Self-reported a violation of By-Law 1.5, accepted school’s actions, no forfeitures required, the students and coaches involved should be reinstated after completing the school’s consequences for the violation; Ste. Genevieve - Self-reported a violation of By-Law 3.15.4, school has not taken any action on this violation, therefore, the individual will not be approved to be a coach due to further violation of By-Law 3.1.8, school may provide in writing, or appear before the MSHSAA Board with the individual in violation, to explain what will be done to ensure a violation does not occur, students that exceeded the contact rule with the coach are not allowed to practice the first six days of baseball in the spring; Stewartsville - Self-reported a violation of By-Laws 3.4 and 3.10, accepted school’s actions, no forfeitures required, student is eligible retroactively and does not need to sit out a contest.

Recommend action by school be accepted and administration acknowledged for self-reporting with no further action - Center - Self-reported a violation of By-Law 3.14, accepted school’s actions, no forfeitures required, all students and coach reinstated; Hogan Prep Academy Charter - Self-reported a violation of By-Laws 24.1a, 24.1b, 24.1d, and 24.1g, accepted school’s actions, no forfeitures required, students’ eligibility should be reinstated; Laquey - Self-reported a violation of By-Law 3.4, accepted school’s actions, no forfeitures required because students were fully eligibility and it was a clerical error that left them off the eligibility roster; Lawson - Self-reported a violation of By-Law 3.14.5.d, accepted school’s actions, no forfeitures required, student granted lesser penalty than 365 days of ineligibility, student restricted to sub-varsity in volleyball for 2018-19, student is ineligible for the first eight matches of the 2018-19 volleyball season.
