Softball Advisory Committee – Summary of Minutes

Held October 29, 2008 at the MSHSAA Office

 

               1.   Recommend that the District Site Selection Process written procedure #5 be changed.  The current language states:  “School representatives at the meeting should be administrators and not coaches.”  Voting school representatives at the meeting should be administrators and not coaches.  Coaches may attend the meeting and provide input.”

               2.   Recommend that the NFHS Softball Rules Committee continue to review the pitching distance rule in interscholastic softball.
