Dec. 17, 2007 Meeting Summary

Held December 17, 2007 (Rescheduled from October 24, 2007)

1. Recommend that the MSHSAA staff develop a Request for Proposal for the state softball final site beginning with the 2008-09 school year.

2. Recommend that a point of emphasis be presented at the 2008 MSHSAA softball rules meetings regarding the rule change that now permits players wearing metal cleats and metal toe plates that stresses the teaching of proper sliding techniques by coaches and warning all players of the added danger.
