COLUMBIA – The Missouri State High School Activities Association (MSHSAA) Board of Directors met for its regularly scheduled board meeting on March 13 at Mizzou Arena. The Board addressed a range of topics impacting member schools across the state.
The MSHSAA Board of Directors certified the results of the Annual Questionnaire, which was sent out to all member schools in February.

“Each year, the Annual Questionnaire gives us important feedback from our member schools,” MSHSAA Executive Director Dr. Jennifer Rukstad said. “This process helps ensure that decisions reflect the needs and viewpoints of our schools. Their input guides the conversation and plays a key role in shaping future MSHSAA policies.”
The Board also approved the items that will appear on this year’s Annual Ballot, which will be available to member schools starting Monday, April 13, and will remain open until Friday, April 24. The results of the Annual Ballot will be posted to the MSHSAA website later this spring.
“The Annual Ballot is the process through which our members create and revise their own rules,” Dr. Rukstad said. “Every school has a voice, and every vote counts. Our member schools ultimately determine the rules for their Association.”
The Board will meet again for a regularly scheduled meeting in April.
