MSHSAA Board Meeting Summary: April 4-5, 2025

The Missouri State High School Activities Association (MSHSAA) held its regularly scheduled board meeting on April 4-5 in the Compass Rose Ballroom at the Margaritaville Lake Resort.

The MSHSAA Board of Directors approved four new member schools.
  • Believe Academy High School
  • Christian Fellowship High School
  • Immaculate Conception (Jackson) Junior High School
  • Miriam High School

“We are excited to welcome these new schools to our membership,” MSHSAA Executive Director Dr. Jennifer Rukstad said. “Each of these schools brings a unique community and commitment to student activities that aligns with our mission to support and promote high school athletics and activities across Missouri.”

These schools will be eligible to participate in MSHSAA sports and activities starting on July 1, 2025.

The Board also conducted a final review of the 2025 Annual Ballot, which was released to schools on Monday and will remain open until Friday, April 18. The results of the Annual Ballot will be posted to the MSHSAA website later this spring.

In addition, the Board approved recommendations from the Basketball, Spirit, Swimming & Diving and Wrestling Advisory Committees. Specific information on those Board actions will be available here in the future.

The Board is scheduled to meet again in June.
