MSHSAA Officials Uniform Requirements

1. Officials must wear their MSHSAA patch/emblem when officiating MSHSAA regular or postseason contests.

2. The MSHSAA Certified Official patch/emblem shall be located on the uniform 1 inch below the seam line of the left shoulder.

3. Officials are not to wear the MSHSAA emblem/patch while officiating non-school competitions.

4. Optional:
a. a local association patch shall be worn on the left chest only
b. NFHS patch shall be worn on the right sleeve only
c. American Flag (not to exceed 2” by 3”) shall be worn on the right sleeve only
d. For postseason contests, only the MSHSAA patch (and the optional American Flag) shall be worn on the uniform shirt.
  • *  Shirt – Black (can have a hint of gray accent)

  • *  Jacket – Black, prefer solid but may include white, red or gray trim

  • *  Pants – Gray slacks

  • *  Hat – Black (shall be unadorned)

    

  • * Shirt – MSHSAA black and white vertically striped sublimated jersey with black V-neck collar
     and black sleeve trim

  • * Pants – Black
  • * Shoes – Black
  • * Socks – Black
  • * Optional –

  • Warm-up jacket - Solid Black
