BlueFrame Technology to Produce MSHSAA Championship Contest Broadcasts

Columbia, Mo. — The Missouri State High School Activities Association (MSHSAA) is pleased to announce it’s new partnership with BlueFrame Technology to re-launch MSHSAA TV, the organization’s digital video network. MSHSAA.tv features live and on-demand coverage of select MSHSAA Championship events. A new addition, MSHSAA member schools and regional broadcasters across Missouri will have the opportunity to contribute their broadcasts to the platform.

Thanks to BlueFrame’s advanced digital video distribution capabilities, MSHSAA TV will reach fans and supporters through several modern video technology platforms: the network’s official website, www.mshsaa.tv, dedicated mobile apps for iOS and Android devices, and TV streaming apps on Apple TV, Amazon Fire TV, Android TV, and Roku. Event broadcasts are available through live-streaming, on-demand, and download. MSHSAA member schools and regional broadcasters that participate in the new network could have their own dedicated channel on MSHSAA TV to showcase their broadcasts and events.

“We are excited about the opportunities this venture will bring,” stated Dr. Kerwin Urhahn, MSHSAA Executive Director. “Our staff is looking forward to the Association continuing to provide an online streaming destination on multiple platforms for our member schools and their families.  We are also looking forward to the possibilities this agreement may bring to everyone involved.”

MSHSAA’s new partnership and digital video network with BlueFrame replaces it’s previous agreement with the NFHS Network.  This agreement continues to provide fans and followers across the globe the ability to stay engaged and follow their favorite teams and events on the device or platform of their choice.

“BlueFrame Technology is proud to team up with the MSHSAA,” said BlueFrame CEO Ben Kant. “Our end-to-end video streaming solution along with our ability to distribute broadcasts to modern applications across web, mobile, and smart TV devices will improve both the viewing experience and access to MSHSAA content. Our goal is for MSHSAA TV to be the premiere destination for all high school activities in Missouri, ensuring fans and entire communities stay connected and engaged with MSHSAA regular season and championship events.”

MSHSAA TV aired its first broadcast Saturday, November 2nd with live coverage of the four Fall Softball championship games. Action then continues throughout the month of November with live broadcasts of state championships for volleyball, boys swimming & diving, boys soccer and football.
