Held October 26, 2005

1. Recommend that the MSHSAA submit a rules change proposal to the NFHS Softball Rules Committee to move the high school pitching distance from 40 feet to 43 feet to allow more offense in the high school game and potentially follow other rule making bodies that have or are discussing moving the pitching back to 43 feet.

2. Recommend that all air-driven or mechanical air horns or sirens of any size be prohibited at the district and state tournament series games and this prohibition be recommended during the regular season.
