The Distinguished Service Award program recognizes individuals who have served the Missouri State High School Activities Association in a manner that is unique and whose contributions have been beyond the ordinary.  This year MSHSAA is pleased to recognize Kathy Phillips from Republic for her service and contributions to interscholastic activities.

The Irvin Keller Award program is the highest honor awarded by the Board of Directors.  This award recognizes individuals who have continued to promote the values of the Missouri State High School Activities Association interscholastic activities programs and have worked unselfishly to provide the greatest educational experiences possible for the youth of Missouri.    MSHSAA is please to recognize Kent Summers from Raymore and Paul Copenhaver from Moberly for their service and contributions to interscholastic activities.

These individuals have made activities programs very important parts in the overall education of Missouri students through their service, work, dedication, and leadership with MSHSAA.

Phillips, Summers and Copenhaver will be presented their awards at the second general session of the Missouri Music Educators Association Conference in January.
