1. Recommend that the officials draft start time be moved to 10 a.m. on a weekday or the draft be held on a Saturday of the dates prescribed. (Denied)

2. Recommend that a point of emphasis for 2007-08 include player control fouls, physical play during free-throw blocking out, and hand checking and directing. (Approved)

3. Went on record to support three-person officiating for sectional, quarterfinal, semifinal and championship games for classes 1, 2, and 3. Three-person crews working the district tournament will be hired at the discretion of the district tournament committee. (Approved)

4. Recommend that a qualifier statement be added to the District Officials Recommendation Form from coaches which states you must limit your “not recommended” officials to three. If more than three officials are listed, only the first three names listed will be honored as being not recommended. (Approved)

5. Recommend that the AD Advisory Committee look to discuss establishing guidelines which specify a minimum seating capacity requirement for a school to host a district tournament. (Approved)

6. Went on record to support allowing Academic All-State recipients to be recognized at the state tournament, if feasible. (Approved)

7. Recommend that the proposed state tournament schedule, which added one day to each weekend and which will reduce the number of games scheduled each day, be implemented during the 2007-08 school year, if possible. (Tabled for further study)

8. Recommend that a point of emphasis at the rules meetings be added that all coaches sitting on the bench during the season meet all MSHSAA certification requirements. (Approved)

9. Recommend that a written response to a technical foul issued for clerical errors not be required. (Approved)

10. Recommend that a proposal to move the free throw lane line-up back one spot be submitted to the NFHS. (Approved)
