Jefferson
City To Host MSHSAA Cross Country Championships Through
2014
COLUMBIA, MO.
– The Missouri State High School Activities Association announced Wednesday
that its Cross Country Championships will be hosted at Oak
Hill Golf
Center in Jefferson City for the next four years.
After considering proposals from three communities, the
MSHSAA Board of Directors chose to return to Oak Hills. The 61-year-old championship has been held in
Jefferson City
for 34 years. Prior to being held at Oak
Hills, Hough Park Golf Club hosted the event for four years. Competitors ran at the A.L. Gustin Golf
Course in Columbia from 1963-74, while Forest Park in St.
Louis hosted the first 13 championships from
1949-1962.
