***    1. Recommend that an item be placed on the agenda of the Athletic Directors Advisory Committee regarding the changing of MSHSAA By-Law 306 (all-star contests), 320 (sports seasons), and 235 (non-school competition) to permit student-athletes of grades 9-12 and their coaches to participate in national level postseason all-star contests.

Amend: Recommend that an item be placed on the agendas of the Constitution Study, Liaison, and Athletic Directors Advisory Committees to determine if they favor permitting schools teams to participate in national championships after the school season has been completed.

2. Went on record to support conducting a study to determine the feasibility of using a computer chip method to record times and place finishes at the MSHSAA Championships.

3. Recommend, based on input from the state championship medical staff and MOATA regarding competing during hot weather conditions, that the starting time of the first race at the MSHSAA Championships be moved to 9 a.m. beginning with the 2006-07 school year in order to minimize heat-related situations.
