1.    Recommend that MSHSAA exclude approved coaches from the 'shoe rule' during timed warm-ups beginning with the 2009-10 school year.

**    2. Recommend to allow schools the option to use flags for line judges during the regular season, districts and sectionals as per NFHS Rule 5-8-4. (Referred to Officials Advisory Committee)

**    3.    Recommend to advance the top 2 teams from each district to sectionals. (Item will be included as an Area Meeting Topic in 2009-2010)

**    4.    Recommend to expand sectionals from 4 teams to 8 teams per class with cross bracketing of districts (Item will be included as an Area Meeting Topic in 2009-2010).

**    5.    Recommend to advance 8 teams per class to the state championships and expand the state tournament to begin on Thursday (Item will be included as an Area Meeting Topic in 2009-2010).

**** 6. Recommend to adopt the continuous standing policy used during post season basketball for volleyball and to include this language in the MSHSAA Volleyball Manual.

7.    Recommend to include NFHS rule 12-3 (Unsporting Conduct: Spectators) as a Point of

Emphasis for officials during the 2009 MSHSAA volleyball rules meetings.

8. Recommend to place an item on the Annual Questionnaire to amend MSHSAA By-Law 322 to move the first allowable contest for girls volleyball to Friday of week 8 beginning with the 2009-school year.
