Bus U= nloading and Loading Procedures for State Music Festival

 

   = ;     Music directors should be aware of the procedure and route for unloading and load= ing busses at the State Music Festival.  Below is the route and flow of traffic for busses at the state festi= val.

 

1.  &nb= sp;  All vehicles must enter Hitt = Street from the south and travel north (one way traffic).

2.  &nb= sp;  Students will be unloaded on the east side of Hitt street only (Union side).

3.  &nb= sp;  After unloading students, drivers should park their busses at the Hearnes East Pa= rking lot.  Additional parking is available on the south side of Faurot Field if Hearnes is full.<= /span>

4.  &nb= sp;  A large sign bearing the name of your school MUST be placed on the emergency door of each bus to aid University person= nel in identifying vehicles on the lot.

5.     Drivers should fo= llow map above to get to Hitt Street.

6.  &nb= sp;  At the intersection of Hitt & Rollins Streets, drivers should stop and an officer will validate the Hitt Street Pass.

7.  &nb= sp;  As you park on the east side of Hitt Street you will have 20 minutes for loading.<= span style=3D'mso-spacerun:yes'>  At the end of this time the bus wi= ll have to leave Hitt Street= .

8.  &nb= sp;  If students have not arrived and your bus must move, an officer at Hitt & University Streets will initial your pass so you may get back in rotation without returning to the Hearnes lot.

9.  &nb= sp;  To get back in parking rotation, turn east on University Avenue, south on College Avenue and west on Rollins Stree= t which will bring you back to the officer at Hitt Street.
