MSHSAA Member School Status Changes - New Member Schools
 The MSHSAA welcomes the following schools as new members for the 2009-2010 school year:

  • Derrick Thomas Academy Charter Junior High School (Kansas City)
  • Hickman Mills Junior High School (Kansas City) (Formerly seperate schools for Ervin and Smith-Hale Jr. Highs)
  • Islamic School of Greater Kansas City
  • Liberty North High School (Liberty)
  • Ruskin High School (Kansas City) (Formerly separate schools for Hickman Mills and Ruskin High Schools)

    MSHSAA Member School Status Changes - Schools with Name Changes
    It should be noted that the following schools have changed their name as of the 2009-10 school year:
  • Helias High School is now Helias Catholic
  • Hollister Middle School is now Hollister Junior High School
  • Kirksville Junior High School is now Kirksville Middle School
