March 3, 2009 Meeting Summary

Y    1. Recommended that verification of the minimum weight class of all wrestlers competing at each district tournament shall take place prior to the seeding of the first weight class.

Y    2.Recommended that once the seeding for a weight class begins, the entries at that weight class may not be changed to another weight class.

Y    3. Recommended that the State Championship Finals use the random draw method for selecting the beginning weight class.

Y    4. Recommended that the rotation for state brackets be drawn individually by weight class each year.
