1. Recommended these changes to the boys and girls swimming events qualifying standards for next year:

2. Recommended the following alteration to the diving qualifying standards for boys and girls:

Six-Dive Meet Qualifying Standards:

Boys: No change (230 points with 12.2 degree of difficulty minimum)

Girls: Requirement of 240 points (No change on 12.2 degree of difficulty minimum)

All other six-dive meet qualifying standard requirements remain unchanged.

Eleven-Dive Meet Qualifying Standards:

Boys: 356 points (no change) and added a 20.5 total degree of difficulty minimum

Girls: 385 points and added a 20.5 total degree of difficulty minimum

All other eleven-dive meet qualifying standard requirements remain unchanged.

 

3. Recommended that team managers be further restricted at the state meet, specifically that each team be allowed to bring a maximum of one and that a manager must be a high school student.

 

4. Recommended that diving practice flights on Friday be filled on a first-come, first-served basis if a procedure for doing so can be developed for little to no cost.

 

5. Recommended that the State awards area be restricted during the awards ceremony to only the athletes and ONE coach per team that is represented in the top 8, due to limited space and time between heats.

 

* 6. Recommended that an item be placed on the 2017 Annual Ballot, to restrict the number of high school meets missed by an athlete as a result of participating in a club meet, to a maximum of two.
