2010 MSHSAA SOFTBALL ADVISORY COMMITTEE
CONFERENCE CALL ON NOVEMBER 1, 2010

* 1. Recommend the MSHSAA Board of Directors place
an item on the annual Questionnaire to add a 5th class to Fall
Softball.
* 2. Recommend the following change in the wording
of the Board Policy on Open Facilities (#26 page 114):
School
administrators may open the school’s gymnasiums, other school campus facilities, or non-campus facilities that are
contracted by the school for practices or games for free play recreational
activities without being in violation of MSHSAA By-Laws pertaining to school
sports season and non-school competition when conducted under the following
conditions.
* 3. Recommend the MSHSAA Board of Directors place
an item on the annual Questionnaire to increase the number of innings allowed
in a season by changing the multiplier from 9 to 10.
By-Law 346.1
Softball- No player may participate in a total number of innings for the season
that exceed nine ten times the number of games (exclusive
of tournaments) played by the higher team on which she plays.
