Held December 8, 2005

1. Recommend that the 8-Man finals be played at the Edward Jones Dome in St. Louis in conjunction with the 11-Man finals if economically feasible, beginning in 2006. (Denied)

2. Went on record in opposition to adjusting district criteria to permit the playing of traditional games as those games are best handled by the schools and conferences involved. (Approved)

3. Recommend that the minimum on-field warm-up time at the finals be increased from 20 minutes to 25 minutes. (Approved)

4. Recommend that the MSHSAA Board of Directors appoint an ad hoc committee of superintendents, principals, athletic administrators, and coaches to study and potentially recommend a new playoff system to be presented to the MSHSAA member schools that play football for possible implementation. The committee recommends that any new playoff system includes eight-team districts. (Denied)
