Summary of MSHSAA
Football Advisory Committee Minutes
Held December 10,
2009 at the MSHSAA Office
1. Recommend that 8-man football championship continue at the Dome.
2. Recommend that the manual indicate that at a minimum 30% of the
seats be marked and available for
the visiting team.
** 3. Recommend that schools may provide to an
athlete any and all equipment to participate
in an all-star game.
4.
Recommend that MSHSAA update the football manual and include a
time line
for pre-game procedures
to include performance groups.
5. Recommend that the awards presentation at the Dome be ended if the
teams cannot follow the
instructions presented to them. The
field will be cleared and the awards will be given
to the administration. This decision
will be made by the Executive Director.
6. Recommend that the advisory committee meet in the Spring to
discuss the playoff system and any
changes that need to be implemented.
