Select Sport America will replace Baden as the official ball of the MSHSAA district and state series for a three-year period, beginning in 2007-08. The Select Royale model will be used for all boys and girls soccer districts and state playoff games beginning this fall and continuing through the 2009-10 school year.

The official ball adoptions in all other sports will remain the same for the next three years with Baden remaining the official ball in volleyball. Spalding will continue to be the official basketball, while Rawlings will be renewed for three more years in the sports of football, baseball and softball.
