2008 One-Day Cheerleading Clinic Information

The MSHSAA One-Day Cheer Clinic scheduled is listed below. The brochures for registering for the clinics will be mailed to all schools in April. This information is also available on the MSHSAA web site under “sideline cheerleading”. Pre-registration is $15 per participant and must be postmarked by May 16. All registrations postmarked after May 16 will be $20. Walk-in registrations shall be invoiced to the school at $20 per participant. No payments will be accepted at the clinic site as schools will be billed directly by MSHSAA. Please submit your registration form directly to MSHSAA. The program format will feature two coaches’ sessions. The first session is the coaches round table discussion on “Things to Include in a Spirit Handbook”. The second session will be “cheerleading sports medicine” conducted by an athletic trainer. This year’s session will cover stretching and strength conditioning without weights. There is no charge to coaches who only come to attend the two clinic sessions.

Registration/Fees: The registration fee is $15 per participant for registration forms postmarked by May 16 and $20 per participant for registration forms postmarked after May 16. All registered participants will receive a spirit t-shirt! Please indicate the size and number of t-shirts needed and the clinic site you will be attending on the registration form. Walk-in registrations shall be invoiced to the school at $20 per participant. No payments will be accepted at the clinic site as schools will be billed directly by MSHSAA. Simply complete the registration form and hand to the site manager to forward to MSHSAA. With this change we ask that each school submit only one registration form for each team or group attending (no individual registrations please).
Timeline: All registration forms are to be submitted directly to MSHSAA along with payment and t-shirt size information. Please note the registration fee structure and deadline dates listed above. In order to guarantee a t-shirt the day of the clinic, registration forms must be postmarked and mailed to the MSHSAA by May 16. Schools that send registration forms postmarked after May 16 will have t-shirts shipped directly to the school and will be invoiced accordingly (refer to Registration/Fees above).
Refunds: Schools that desire a refund should print off the Request for Refund Form to complete and fax to the MSHSAA. Refunds will be in the amount of $5 per registered participant. The t-shirt is yours to keep. All requests must be received by June 20.
